Support Coordination

Support Coordination is an NDIS funded service established to build the skills you need to understand, implement and use your plan. A support coordinator will work with you to ensure a mix of supports are used to increase your capacity to maintain relationships, manage service delivery tasks, live more independently and be included in your community.

Ariel believes that helping individuals achieve their goals and live a purposeful life, is the best darn job on the planet.

Here at Ariel Coordination we use our extensive experience, knowledge and resources to support you in building a purposeful life of choice and control. We're firm believers in rolling up our sleeves and getting stuck in when supporting our participants.

Rather than be reactive to your needs, we pride ourselves on being proactive. For far too long this 'reactive' ideology has been present in the Newcastle and Hunter region, and we want to do something about it.

Book a meet and greet with Ariel's founder Kate Maslen and she will come to you to show what we can do to support you to live your best life. At no charge to you, this meet & greet session will give you the time to communicate your needs, passions and goals. Kate will then sit with you and develop a comprehensive plan outlining how we are going to achieve these goals.

Ariel Origins

Meet Ariel Coordination's founder Kate Maslen. After starting as a support worker, Kate found her passion for the disability community, where she worked in Case Management, Support Coordination and then established Ariel Coordination.

Kate's leap into the the world of support coordination came after she recognised a gap in the Newcastle and Hunter region for proactive coordinators. Sick of seeing no change, she decided to be that change. It is with her passion and years of experience within the disability sector that she continues to support each of her participants to lead fulfilling lives.

In her free time Kate is also the co-founder of the Ariel App, a mobile application that will improve access to information, as well as enhance social and community participation, for people living with a disability. To see more on what Kate has been doing with this social initiative, select here.
